Cellar Door is an award-winning wine bar in the historic Christchurch Arts Centre.

We aim to provide an outstanding wine experience, featuring wine tasting flights alongside a large selection of fine local and international wine, craft beer, spirits, and all-day menu to match.

We are open 12pm-11pm 7 days, peak times are evenings and weekends.

Front Of House

We are looking for experienced front-of-house and wine professionals to join our team for the busy summer months.

The ideal candidate will have a love of wine, WSET Level 2 or practical equivalent, and at least 2 years' experience in bar and restaurant service in New Zealand or overseas.

This position would be ideal for someone going onto vintage and harvest work at a New Zealand winery.

Chef de Partie

We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie for immediate start for our small team.

This is an opportunity for a emerging professional to step into an established kitchen and have input into a venue with a focus on quality, with opportunities for training and advancement.

The successful applicant will be a fast, clean chef with experience with seasonal local produce, French, Spanish and Italian cuisine, and have performed for 2+ years at a similar level. 

Kitchen Porter

We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Hand for immediate start for our small team.

This is an opportunity for a emerging professional to step into an established kitchen and have input into a venue with a focus on quality, with opportunities for training and advancement.
